Biography of Isaac Wilson III  | Motivational Speaker, Author, Community/Political Activist

Isaac Wilson III was born and raised in Florence, South Carolina and attended Wilson High. He is a class of 2011 graduate of Morris College, where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in History. In 2009, Isaac became the founder of Listen 365, now The Isaac Wilson Project. Through his hard-work and commitment , it has become one of the leading organizations in the country against bullying, suicides and youth empowerment/development.

Isaac has been speaking to middle schools, high schools, charter schools, colleges, non-profit organizations, and churches throughout the country spreading his message of being bold about whom you are, where you’re going and the epidemic of bullying. Because of his community service work he was recognized as a ‘Who’s Who among Entrepreneurs’ member and has served on President Barack Obama’s Task Force on Bullying since 2011. Isaac is the 2015 recipient of the Honor of Distinction Award given by Distinction Inspirational Magazine. Additionally, Isaac has garnered 2 national sponsors; FIJI Water and Chick-Fil-A. Isaac recently was selected as a Top 20 Under 40 recipient by the Thomas Media Group and the Black Expo. Mr. Wilson is also currently the Deputy Director of the Southeast Region of the Young Democrats of America, the largest Democratic body of youth ages 18-36. He’s the 2016 Male of the Year Honoree of the I AM HIM Foundation.

Isaac is the best-selling Author of Top 140 Awarding winning children’s books, “The Bully and Me”, over 11,000 copies sold. Isaac released two other books entitled, “In Between Single and Married": When your reality doesn’t meet your expectation and 20 Courageous Men. There is nothing more important to Isaac’s heart than teaching young people that bullying or being a bully is never the right decision and that suicides aren’t an answer to solving life’s problems. He is a member of the divine 9 fraternity of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated. Isaac is a dynamic individual who truly believes that change can happen but only if the actors involved are all playing their roles. Isaac was just recently a candidate for City Council At-Large in his hometown of Florence, SC. Lastly, Isaac recently became the part owner of the Florence Wildcats Semi Pro Basketball team that began play March 2017.
